CUNNING FOLK

 The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic is one of my favourite museums in the world so I was really keen to make a collaborative exhibition with them happen in my time as Project Manager for Beach London. 

The exhibition brought together pieces from the Museum’s collection, and artworks by creatives based on, or inspired by, pieces in the collection.

 

I chose the Mandrake, the hallucinogenic root that has ancient associations with witchcraft and folklore. I made a light up diorama inspired by medieval depictions of the root as a little man
