SZ FAMILIE

 

Süddeutsche Zeitung is Germany's biggest broadsheet newspaper and SZ Familie is their family magazine. The guys at SZ asked it they could commission a poem called 'A Message from the Seagulls' to go alongside one of my illustrations and I jumped at the chance!

 

I'm not massively sure what the poem is about as it's in German but I've been reliably informed by the writer, Sabine Magnet, that it's about how seagulls are fed up with how we're treating the planet and they'll defecate on us in protest
