Ryman Eco is an environmentally sustainable typeface launched by UK stationery retailer Ryman. It uses an average of 33% less ink than standard fonts. They asked 27 artists to design a poster, one for each letter of the alphabet. Here's what I said about my design.
"The sustainability and the environmental concerns of the typeface were what struck me most strongly when I was initially asked to take part in the project. Natural elements feature strongly in my work so using trees, plants and foliage in my piece seemed to make perfect sense. I wanted to create a piece that you could lose yourself in, pulling out little details and characters the more you look at it."
